John Shomaker & Associates, Inc. (JSAI) is an employee-owned corporation that has been providing professional services in water-resource development, environmental assessment, and reclamation for over 35 years. Dr. John W. Shomaker established the consulting practice in 1973 as a sole-proprietorship. The practice was incorporated in 1986, and in 1994, the name was changed to John Shomaker & Associates, Inc., Water-Resource and Environmental Consultants (JSAI) to recognize the dedicated and highly-proficient staff that had been established. JSAI is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. JSAI provides expertise in water planning, completion of water-supply wells and monitoring wells, surface and groundwater sampling and data collection, groundwater-flow modeling, environmental geochemistry, water-quality modeling, groundwater and soil remediation, and regulatory compliance. The corporation operates as a complete unit, each individual vital to success, with the leaders overseeing and in direct communication.
